Plastic Surgery
AT MY SKIN MEDICAL SPA
About Dr. David Dorfman, M.D.
As one of Southern California’s most highly-trained and successful surgeons, I have committed my professional practice to providing patients with revolutionary medical care, cutting-edge alternatives, expert guidance, and unparalleled results. Having had the privilege of working with world-renowned surgeons, I developed an artistic talent in my cosmetic practice, where I am adeptly attuned to my patients’ aesthetic concerns and goals.

My detailed consultations reflect my desire to create a compassionate, supportive experience for patients exploring tailored outcomes through highly customized surgical planning. Every day, I work diligently to help patients look and feel their best, performing breast augmentations, rhinoplasties, mommy-makeovers, facial contouring, liposuction, and numerous other cosmetic procedures to improve overall appearance. Men and women alike benefit from the many surgical and non-surgical procedures performed in the office and at the surgery center.

As a double board-certified plastic surgeon with the American Board of Plastic Surgery, I trained for 15 years after completing my undergraduate education in psychobiology at UCLA, thereafter, earning my dental degree as a Bruin. I finished medical school at UC Davis where I completed my residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, before completing additional training in general surgery at UC San Francisco. I then completed my full residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at UC Davis and ended my surgical training with a fellowship in craniofacial surgery in the in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the prestigious Stanford University.

As a testament to my unparalleled expertise and compassionate character, I became a Fellow for Operation Smile, a charitable organization dedicated to performing much-needed medical intervention, including cleft lip and palate surgeries for impoverished children in Mexico, Nicaragua, and India. Each month, I continue to dedicate time to treating underprivileged children who require highly-skilled medical expertise to address complex cleft and craniofacial problems in the greater Los Angeles area. When not in the operating room, I can be found running mile after mile and enjoying time spent with my three children.
